As their name suggests hints are not exactly like cheats, and are usually just simple (but very useful) tips on how you can unlock secret level, features, find hidden areas and such. Hopefully these will make playing the online game Runescape even more entertaining.

Survive in the Lava Chambers

Get to the point where you are able to fight Lesser Demons or level 54 Skeletons or Red Spiders. After defeating the Dragon, or at least using the secret door the first time from the Crandor side, get enough Fishing and Cooking to be able to catch and cook Lobster. Bring a Lobster Pot, a Tinderbox and a Hatchet (any type). Reach the island from Karamja (through the secret door). Fight your monsters, etc. When you run out of food, return through the secret door to Karamja and fish for Lobsters. Then, cut a tree for logs, set it on fire, and cook your Lobsters. This allows you to survive in the Lava Chambers under Crandor/Karamja Islands almost indefinitely. This is useful for leveling up against certain monsters and to also get a lot of one kind of item from a particular monster (such as Rune Mediums from Lesser Demons).

MMORPG

RuneScape is a MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role-playing computer game) made in Java, with over 2.8 million registered players. RuneScape is made by Jagex Ltd and offers both pay to play ("P2P") and free to play ("F2P") memberships to players.

Runescape allows players to develop many different skills (non-combat) ranging from cooking and crafting to runecrafting and mining. The big range of non-combat skills means that Runescape has an expansive, dynamic economy of players.

RuneScape requires no installation and can be accessed from the official site, because it hase been implemented in Java.

Medieval Fantasy World

RuneScape is placed in a medieval fantasy world, similar to "EverQuest" or "Guild Wars", where players control character representations of themselves. As with most massive MMORPGs, there is not an overall objective or specific end to the free game. Players explore, perform optional tasks, form alliances and complete quests for rewards and to build character's skills.

During peak hours, as many as 160,000 players may be online across 90 international servers. These servers are located in he United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Netherlands, making it the most popular online Java-based game (looks like an online flash game) in the world. RuneScape is typically updated on a weekly basis with the addition of new skills, quests, or other details added to the imaginary world.
